I'm beginning to realize or believe that my hives are coming from anxiety. I've had hives off and on since the end of July. This is literally driving me crazy, I'm trying to figure out which foods I may be allergic to, etc...

Has anyone else had hives develop from anxiety/panic attacks.

Thanks for your time!

I have heard of other people saying they thought the same thing. So i guess it is very possible. I get hives when i get cold and it took me forever to find out that is what was causing them, i kept looking at what i had ate.

I had hives several months ago and what's weird is they only come at night and only on my lower body and persisted for weeks.Come to find out by trial and error it was a ssri I was taking, after a week of stopping it the hives vanished. I did find out that hot showers/bathes can cause hives in some people in my research on the subject. If so try cool showers to see if it helps,Anxiety/stress can cause histamine reactions "hives", same I guess with blushing when embarrased or sweaty palms and hot flashes when we are nervous and goose bumps when we are afraid or cold.I suppose everything is linked together somehow
