Hi Everyone,
I found this HealthBoard while doing a search on Cerebral Palsy. I am married with 2 children and was diagnosed at 4 years of age with Spastic Diplegia CP. My kids are now grown so it's now just hubby and me. My reason for joining was to find out how others with the same diagnosis are coping with body changes as adults. My last surgery was 2 years ago, and involved a 2 part spinal fusion, as my vertebrae were collapsing in my lower back. My big concern is how to keep my upper body strong in light of the additional stress I'm experiencing in my upper back since the fusion. Is there anyone who may be experiencing similar difficulties? I'd appreciate all input. Thanks so much.
Shirley
