Hi everyone
Im trying to not be to annoying by asking a bunch of questions but I have a concern about my eyes. I am now going into a remission which happens usually every Fall like clockwork. I am noticing my eyes are way out of focus, it comes and goes sometimes things are clear and sometimes I loose total focus. I don't need to tell you that this frightens me a great deal. I have an appointment with an eye Dr. on Monday. I was wondering if this may be the ending result of my last relapse. I wear contacts and glasses either one is very blurry and jumpy at times. The computer screen is very out of focus also
thanks for any input

A good eye doctor should be able to make a judgement as to whether your eye problems are or are not MS related. I get blurry vision, but on good days my eyes are 20/10. On a really bad day- blind as a bat! Testing during remission would be the best thing for you (my non-medical opinion!).

Hi Twink - Whoops - I just typed a reply and somehow managed to lose it, so my apologies if this is a repeat reply. I also have occasional blurry vision, and do have mild ON, but also have (and have had for years) a cataract that is slowly progressing. I went to the opthalmologist the other day, told him of recent increase in blurriness and focusing, which is resolving presently, but I know it could come back later. He checked, thinks the cataract is the culprit - a relief to me. We'll talk about cataract removal later this year, but in the meantime, I'm happy to think that the cataract is something common that can be dealt with. I wish for you the same.
