i pick scabs on my head and collect them in my lap while i am driving or while i am reading at night, do i have ocd or something?

Its a form of self injury. Dermatillomania is the technical word for it. It can be a symptom of OCD, borderline personality disorder, anxiety and a bunch of others. What it comes down to is the reason why you are doing it and whether its a conscious or unconscious action.
