View Full Version : Fibro and Electro Follies

Hi everyone. Newbie and a Fibromate so be gentle.

I have observed the electromagnetic thing most of my days. I was diagnosed a year ago and studied Fibromyalgia and its wonders ever since.

My first wierd electricity thing was with watches. I kill them. I recieved a present from my dad. A cool underwater sports watch. Three months later the watch was going backwards. The watch company set me a new one, even a better model. Three or four months later, you guessed it, the watch was dead. I recieved 5 watches in all, a better model each time. Finally they cut me off, as the watch repair guys could not figure out what I did to the watches.

I've had car electrical problems. My car at the moment, has a gas gauge that completey goes funny. I actually have a lot of fun outguessing the darn thing, but it can catch you unaware.

I've the ability to turn out street lights, walking under or even driving by. I've recently read Dr. Devin's book and she tells of one sufferer who had a doctor observe the lights out phenom.

Mosquitos and other bugs like the weird electricity also. Anyone else feel like you are the special meal when outside while others are fine. I find I keep some of the bugs away from others. Maybe I could stand in the corner for the benifit of others at the barbeque, maybe a career there.

Thanks for the Voice

Hey Marv,

Maybe that's why my computer never seems to work right! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif Sounds like a good enough reason for me anyway.. I have managed to blow up more than my fair share of small appliances and peripheral devices, but I just thought it was bad luck..

I can totally empathize with the bug thing.. I am a human mosquito magnet.. I've always thought it was really odd, but figured that I just must be sweeter than everyone else.. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/biggrin.gif I wonder how much people would pay for the services of a human mosquito magnet.. There might be some really good money in it.. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

Take Care,
Melanie

before i knew i was a fibromite, i could never figure out the weird electrical thing i had going on! the girls at work tease me and say i have an amazing electric arse, as i can make sparks fly when i bend over (there HAS to be a joke here!), so be thankful it's only your watch that goes backwards! you could have blue lightning coming out yer yang! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

seriously though, was really sure i had poltergeists that would turn on/off the tv/vcr/dvd. and yes, i do feel like a special dinner guest when mosquitos are around, i could sub for one of those bug zappers at bbq's....especially since i provide my own blue light!

do you get a flare in lightening storms? i can feel one coming hours before anyone else does...almost taste it actually. i'm hoping to hone my skills and get a job with either the forestry service, or with the seismic guys, as i'm sure i could accurately predict when a quake is about to hit. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/bouncing.gif

Oh my gosh!! I thought I was the only one with the weird electricity!
We lived in Kansas before moving to Ca. When we would have tornado weather or big lightening storms moving in I could tell for up to 12 hours before. It would literally make me jumpy.
I am also a bug feast it drives me nuts!
I can't believe there are so many of us out here. It is kind of nice to not be alone anymore http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
Blessings,
Kathy

Thunderstorms also charge me. It's a great feeling when the lightning starts. It's like a cleansing. There's nothing better than being in the cottage with a thunderstorm going on. I must watch myself as one day I'll get zapped. Big winds also have a wierd electrical current or whatever. I thought this was just me, but I've read where this is the case.

I think my perfect job would be a storm chaser.
