Hi all
Yesterday was my one month of being in the study program. I have had no adverse reactions at all. The only thing for me are the lumps and couple of bruises on my thighs and back of my arms. When I use the auto injector the site stings for a little while so I really look forward to the avonex. That needle is still intimidating but once I do it there is no pain sting or anything else, I do however sometimes bleed from the injections, does anyone know if this is normal? So anyway so far so good. That's my update, everyone have a great day.:D

Hi there Hotflash,
I'm on Avonex and yes i bleed occasionally. I asked this of my Nurse, she says its the tiny cappeliries in our thighs ( thats where i do mine ). Just have a band aid next to you and should be able to take it off with in !hr.
As for the needle, hate hate hate it . I choose to use the 1 inch length , its slightly shorter and thinner but that i'm happy with.I but a box of 100 for $10 from the chemist.
Good to hear its all going well. Take care.

Hi Mitch

That's where I inject my avonex shots too. So far I bled twicwe and twice it did not. I tend to bleed more with the copaxone shots. What are you doing about all of the lumps? I have them in every spot I have injected in. I think you might know a lot more since you have been in this program a lot longer. Did your dr give you any advice? I don't go back until November.:D

Thanks, hotflash
