Ive been taking Prozac 20mg once a day fo rlast 10 weeks.

Ive been mainly fine on it now its settled into my system.
But last two days ive been having these weird feelings in my head. Sort of like a lightheadedness and like m gonna faint. IT lasts for a split second but happens every couple of mins at a point during the day. hard to explain but it also feels like my blood sugar is low and that weird feeling. Anyone else experienced this?

Worrybucket, how have you been with your breathlessness? has it subsided? - the lightheadedness won't be the prozac, not after 10 weeks - let me know how you are?

Hi Pantz,

The breathlessness has subsided but it hasnt gone completely. Im sorta coping with it, cuz i dont want to up my dose. I think the Prozac is giving me weird headaches and this spaced out feeling im getting its not nice. Generally ive been fine on Prozac but just this last few days ive got this feeling where im feeling like im gunna be a bit dizzy and light headed, it may be that ive had a bit of a sinusy head thing going on and it could be my ears i spose.

How are you doing?

The last few days have been consistant (not good but not really bad), i've just gone from 10mg to 20mg a day, 10mg at 7am and 10mg at 2pm to soften the side effects blow........ its only day15 (13days at 10mg and 2 days at 20mg) so i'm expecting too much too soon - inpatient - good thing is that after gritting my teeth for 18months i've finally stopped and i'm getting help!! i just hope this works.......:) - i'm not sure what to expect? do i just wake up one morning or is it little changes and eventually its gone?/

Nope,

not after almost 10 weeks has much changed for me. Im happier, im nothaving such harsh shortness of breath, but im still getting it, albeit on a lesser scale. I think its taken the edge off but not got rid of it completely which is what some people say has happened to them.

I dont like this weirdness im getting in my head at moment though, its like a bit of dizziness, and un realness.

I suspect that theres only so much meds can do before you have to-do the rest yourself..........its a bloody lottery isn't it, could the dizzyspells be down to diet? are you eating enough? i know this has surpressed my appetite and i have to force food down myself!!!........

No i think my diet is ok in that ive not lost any weight on Prozac or lost my appetite, wish i had !!

This is little spells of feeling light headed its hard to explain really, like flashes. I think its the Prozac as ive not had this before, just funy its started now in week 10, unless it because its really kicking in now.
