Hi Janito,

I made out okay at the neuro on Friday. Yes, he is still in one piece! He said the 2 lesions on my brain have not changed, but that I do have some scattered spots also. He said something about being a little bigger than subtle like the radiologist had said, but I have to ask him whether he was talking about the 2 lesions or the scattered spots. I will be talking to him today about the results of my sleep study, so I will let you know what he says. He had come down some from the 95% sure about MS after I went to Duke, but after looking at my recent MRI he is at 80%. He said he doesn't know of anything else it could be since all my symptoms are consistent with MS.

The one thing that confused me is that he said I haven't had an "attack," because I haven't had certain things with my eyes, walking like I'm drunk, etc. I don't know what you would call what I have been experiencing for the past 7 months then. I wonder if an attack and a flare-up are different things.

He is glad I'm going to the neuro-ophthalmologist on the 8th and Hopkins on the 19th. He said maybe the neuro-ophthalmologist will see something in my eyes that will point toward MS. He also said he wants me to have the doctor at Hopkins take a close look at the MRI of my C-spine, since the radiologist had a question about one area. My neuro really couldn't see what the radiologist was talking about, so he wants the doctor at Hopkins to check. I know I have herniated disks in my C-spine, but I would think they would look differently that the way MS would look.

My son is doing much better after last week...thank you! We all are, just a bit more cautious in general.

I hope you have a wonderful and blessed day! :)

Hugs,

Lynn

Walking like your drunk? well you can remedie that next time you go see him lol... Whats he on about ? and i do beleive that some people with ms have never had any problems with there eyes. Jeezz you think your getting a little nearer and then another issue becomes apparent. Glad your all feeling better, and caution is always a good thing.
I think leisions and all the relevent symptoms would be enough but hey im no neuro, Im still awaiting an appointment wiv a general physician at the private hospital.... im having a bad fatigue spell and ive noticed more twitching and little jerks which seam to make a kind of clicking noise like in your jionts bizarre... the plot thickens ....
Just read that book speedbumps by teri garr what an insparational read, its taken me all of a morning to get through, real exciting life altogether, and of course a long and arduace battle for a ms diagnosis for the symptoms she had been getting for over 20 years, kind sounds familiar...

Well take care doll have a good day and let us know how you get on with the next mindblowing medical profession experience lololol
