I am very concerned about my daughter in law who has Crohn's Disease. She has a port in her chest for administering TPN. Last night she took the cap off of the side that flows blood, and afterwards experienced severe chest pain & pressure, with uncontrolable coughing. She is in the hospital now. They did a cat scan, and blood work. So far everything has come back negative. They mentioned something about her possibly pulling a muscle. I'm just not comfortable with that diagnosis. Is there anyone out there who has experienced this, or knows something about it. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
