can a person who gets blood clots have a hysterectomy? I have factor v leiden, it came from my mother. I've had 5 clots since 3/1/06.

Sponsor forevermoody 09-29-2007, 12:42 PM Hi Amanda -- blood clots are a definite risk during any type of surgery, but I think this is a question for your GYN. After four bouts with DVT, I don't plan on having any type of surgery unless it's absolutely necessary. Best of luck to you! Janet |
