It sounds like an abcess. Do you have sensitivity to hot and cold? Does it ache on it's own without any stimulus? If it is an abcess you will need to have a root canal or an extraction to make it go away. Call your dentist ASAP for an xray and diagnosis. He/she can take care of it for you quite easily!
