Yes. You may not get total agreement on this, though. FMS is not very well understood, and there are lots of opinions. What are your symptoms?

well, I have tmj 2 dislocated discs (had mri) and I had
really bad muscle spasms in jaw , neck, back, even down to legs and feet. I started to see a tmj dr and my neck, back are doing better, but recently he has been bringing down the bite and the calf cramps are back
really strange!!!!

How about you?

I have 2 bulging and one herniated disk, and these can cause all kinds of wierd things to happen in your body, depending on if nerves are pinched. I have been dx'd with fibro for 20 years, have had symptoms for 30 or more. When I hurt my back, the specialist said he wouldn't be surprised if I didn't even have fibro, as bad disks can cause all the same symptoms, and they don't suspect bad disks in young people so would not look into it. He thought maybe I had bad disks in other parts of my spine that were not MRI'd. Well I had an MRI done on my upper back, and I don't have problems there, so I guess I'm stuck with both diagnoses.I have many, many tender points. My chiropracter has a chart of trigger points in his office, and I have every one of them! Mine don't hurt so much on the surface, but are very tender when pressed and feel like bad bruises. I've figured out that I have Myofascial Pain Syndrome as well, which causes the tender spots and is usually linked with fibro. Larry on this board can tell you all about it.
