I'm not actually worried about this, but I am interested, the rash that is associated with HIV...when does that usually occur, and how long does it last?
Is it painful? Where does it usually appear?

it effects every person differently,
so there is no real answer to your question.

Dear smiteler :
I've swollen neck above collarbone(left), and lately I always feel 'fever' like. And kept sweating around my neck and my hand too. I'm felt weak.

Already do the HIV blood test, but the results need to wait 1 weeks. Now I feel really depressed. Cause the thyroid doctor that I seen, say it could be HIV. Really lost my appetite ... :(

Kept thinking I possible infected HIV ...

i had a rash that started in less then a day from my exposure,i couldn't say it was real painful or not because i had other symptoms that were alot worse. my ex never got a rash at all. so there are 2 extremes right there. the symptoms (or rash) from hiv are never the same from person to person, so you can never say whats usual or not, thats why there is no real answer to your question and why you should never go by any symptoms to diagnose.

also thats why i feel they almost shouldn't even tell people about it, because it just makes them fear the worst of what is most of the time nothing to worry about. they should just say if you have doubts to go get tested instead of listing symptoms that you could have or not have.the only way to know if you have an ars rash or not is by a positive test result..there is no other way to know for sure.

and for confused don't think of anything until you get your test back
the rest is just guessing.
