My question is pretty simple. I have always kept my daughter very up to date and current on her immunizations. However, I strongly believe that some shots are unnecessary. The one in particular is the chicken pox immunization. I feel this is a good one for younger families, however my daughter is 12. She had chicken pox quite bad when she was two. I feel giving her the immunization is not only unnecessary, it is also risky. But I have just been warned that if I don't have her get this shot she will be kicked out of her school and if then she doesn't get the shot the school will call the department of health on me. What do I do? I feel like I'm being bullied but am not sure of my rights.
Help??
