Hello---

I've had strange pains in my torso for weeks now, and I'm getting a little freaked out. For awhile it was primarily by my heart. Most evident when I would be lying down and trying to turn over. Short stabbing pains. When I'm upright, its barely noticable...just a vague feeling of not being right. In the past few days I've felt a new pain on the other side of my chest but a little lower 2nd rib up. though its hard to say. Same feeling in that I really notice when I'm lying down.
My mom dates an xray tech so he zapped me and the pics appear normal.
Other possibly pertinant info is that I went through a depressed state for about 6 months with less activity possibly ever. The last 6 weeks or so I've been way more active. I've had some standard soreness that would be expected but this torso thing has "captured my imagination".
I dont drink every day, but have occasionally done it to excess. My new pain is closer to the liver but the other one was higher around the center of the heart. Sooooo, I'm confused.
On one hand it could be adjustments after inactivity. But its been going on too long. Anyone help?
