I went to a bone and joint dr awhile back and he said that my reflexes were abnormal so my reg dr sent me to a Neurologist and he did a reflexe test on me and said it was fine that I was at a 3 and one being good 4 being bad so he said mine was ok he sent me for a mri me thinking it was for my brain and neck since my neck is were most of the pain is coming from no I go back to see him and he said the brain mri was normal I brought the films with me he did not look at them just got a report from the hospital that did the test on top of that didn't do a mri of my neck at all so I have to go this thurs for another mri for my neck..I don't understand one dr telling me my reflexes were abnormal and another saying it was fine *sigh* I'm so so so tired of this hurting I really think there is something really bad going on in my neck it's not normal to be hurting for this long

It seems to me your Neurologist's next step should have been an EMG (a NERVE conjunction study). I would try and get a referral to a Neurologist that specializes in conducting EMGs. EMGs provide more detailed informations on what's going on with your nerves and if there's damage. It sounds like you need to find a neurologist that's more thorough.

I had another mri on my neck but I don't see my dr untill oct 30th so I have to wait almost a month before I know anything...I'm hurting so bad it's really making me depressed just an up date

I agree an EMG is a great way to see how your nerves are working. I just had one and its quick and you get a lot of info from it.
