I read about that, too, but haven't tried it yet. Are you supposed to use it inside, or just on the outer parts? I don't really have the external dryness, but intercourse is like sandpaper.

Hi Percan...
I would think you would use the olive oil on the outside...I did some research on the internet (not much there) and one web site, said to use only " extra light olive oil" .....I do not know, but am hoping to get some responses from ladies that have used the "olive oil" and what success that have or have not had.....
I am just looking for something that will help relieve the severe vaginal dryness on the outside.........I use the vaginal inserts and they help the insides....

I have used it for a couple months now with very good results. I use it inside, just dip my finger in olive oil and insert vaginally every night at bedtime. I use Bertolli's Classico because that is what I have. I still use the estrogen cream twice weekly, but I think the olive oil is more effective.

Hi Larabow
Thanks so much for your response....I am certainly going to try the olive oll...because nothing else is working....and it is a miserable thing to be so dry............I wonder who first came up with the idea of using olive oil of all things...I know it is good stuff, but who would have thought....

Let us know how it works for you. You might even want to use it night and morning for a while for faster results. I hope it helps. I happened to see it mentioned in a small question and answer column in the newspaper. A woman said that she had been using olive oil and her gynecologist thought she was using estrogen vaginal cream because she got such good results. I am sure glad that I saw it.
