I wasn't really sure where to post this since I'm not really sure it's a "Spinal Cord Disorder" but I do have this pain in my neck that I can't really explain. It started a few months ago (I have no idea what caused it) but I have a pain in the left side of my neck that feels like a pulled muscle, that's the best way I can describe it. I can't really tilt my head to the left because it hurts, and when I tilt to the right it feels exactly like I'm stretching a pulled muscle. I usually wouldn't worry about it except that I've had this pain for several months now and I don't see any signs of it going away. I haven't gone to a doctor yet, I thought I'd ask for some opinions here first.

You need to see a doctor and see what is going on. Go see an Ear Nose and Throat doctor as they know the anatomy of the neck the best. You might have a problem in the ear or throat area and this is what's causing the feeling of a pulled muscle. The longer you put it off the worse it could get, specially if it is an infection.
