I have had what I believe to be ringworm for about 2-1/2 months now. It is not as dark as it was at first, but still obviously there. Is it normal for it to last this long?

are you using any kind of medication to get rid of it? With proper treatment it should go away in a few weeks. I don't know if it goes away on it's own or not.

i was using lotrimin for a while, when it wasn't doing much, i switched to tough actin tinactin. so far it looks like it has faded more with the tinactin. but no real huge progress.

sounds like you need to ask a doctor about something stronger in prescription form. My neighbor had to use a prescription cream when she got it from a cat. Think it took her 2 weeks or so for it to be gone.
