Well the bad news is AF showed up Monday. The good news is treatment is actually working. My luteal phase was only 9 days. During the first cycle of treatment it went to 11 days and now this last cycle it is 13 days. I have to admit I was a little skeptical. I didn't really believe that just taking B-6 and folic acid would have an affect on my luteal phase. DH is always telling me I'm too pessimistic for my own good. I'm more than happy to let him be right this time. I am soooooo happy right now......I'm alot more hopeful that I will finally be able to get a BFP that sticks now.

Hi Jenna!
I'm sorry to hear the ***** showed up. But I've VERY GLAD to hear the treatment is working!! I remember you did not think the vitamins were working at all. I guess they just needed a little longer to kick in. Sounds like your bfp is getting closer and closer. :D :D
Best of luck for this new cycle.

I didn't know that vitamins could affect your LH, good to know, I am already taking prenatals are you taking additional folic acid? What about the B6 what is the dosage, etc? do you buy them over the counter or Rx?
sorry to hear AF showed her ugly face, but glad to hear you are optimistic and sounds like you are getting closer to your goal.

Thank You Ladies........I really appreciate your replies. I don't know anyone else who understands the importance of a Luteal Phase. Although, by increasing my LP I just increased my "wait" time too.......LOL. I'm not complaining though. I would much rather wait longer to get a BFP that sticks than get a BFP a week earlier and end up losing it. Thanks again for celebrating this awesome news with me.

Hi Jenna
I am so sorry that AF showed up but like the other ladies I'm thrilled to hear that the vitamins are working and your leutal phase is becoming longer. It's amazing really that vitamins can have that kind of influence - maybe I should start taking them too!
Babydust to you.

Hopeful.............Yes I take folic acid once a day 400mcg. The B-6 is 50mg and I take that once a day also. Both vitamins are over the counter. I also use progesterone b/c I have a deficiency. I didn't want to use the suppositories so I decided to try the cream instead. It has been working just fine for me.

Oh Princess you are so sweet to think of me. Unfortunately I'm not doing much of anything........Playing the ole waiting game again. AF is gone (I only have it for 3 days) so now I'm waiting to O. I am on CD4 and usually O on CD11. I will definitely let you know when I do so you can do the O dance :jester: :jester:
How are you doing? Are you nervous about the surgery? I'm really happy you found a Dr. that works hard to get you your BFP. I know you are probably worried about the surgery but it seems like you are in excellent hands.
Have a wonderful day & try and stay warm!!!!!!!!

Hi jenna!! :D
You sound liek you're doing really well!! :D:D I can't wait fo ryou to O!! :D:D:D Not only because I love to O dance, but also because I really think you will get your BFP this cycle!!
I am a little nervous abotu one part of the surgery. The HSG, I'll be asleep so thats fine, and polyp removal, I just want to scream "GET IT OUT ALREADY" but the ovarian drilling kind of makes me shudder. What kind of name is that?? Ovarian drilling!! I bet a man came up with that name. They woudl never name a procedure "Ball Squashing" :jester: I tried reading abotu it, and all I read is that they burn littl eparts of your ovaries, and I coudln't read anymore.
I'm much warmer now. I "stole" a heat lamp from a treatment room, so until they find out where it went, I'm on a tropical beach in the Cayman Islands instead of trying to deny the Candian Winter that is approaching, while I freeze. ;)
have a wonderful day darling!!!!
