Did anyone read the AP story about kids having heart attacks? They say they don't have a cause for the attacks/spasms and there are no risk factors, no blockages etc. and that the blood work indicates there's been an episode. It sounds like the same thing I had in 2006 and was diagnosed as Neurohumeral Myocardial Stunning (aka broken heart syndrome).......I'm confused why there's no association and if this IS something new why they've not correlated it. I was told by my first Cardiologist that I had what they're saying these kids had but my 2nd opinion diagnosed the NMS. My other question would be who's getting the right diagnosis? Are they or am I???
