Hey all...
I have had clear skin all of my life and out of nowhere a few months ago I started breaking out above my nose in between my eyebrows. I wash my face daily, moisturize, everything...but these pimples will NOT go away. There is a huge cluster of about 10 of them at any one time..as soon as one goes away, another pops up. I've tried acne cleansers, salicylic acid gel, and cleansing masks, but absolutely nothing has worked to take down this cluster. The rest of my skin is clear. What in the world can I do to get rid of them??? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

What is your diet like? Sodas, sugar, yeast, gluten, etc could be the cause. Kefir is really good for acne, lots of water, fruits, vegetables and perhaps some kind of exercise.:) I used to have acne as a teen and it's a pain in the neck, not to mention my diet was horrible. Do you eat lots of breads and sugary stuff?
Also, I've heard of doctors prescribing birth control pills for patients who have acne with remarkable success. Sometimes it's hormonal. I would (this is just my opinion) evaluate my diet, then if that isn't the problem perhaps see an endocrinologist if the dermatologist doesn't resolve this.

thanks for the advice...I definitely have a horrible diet, but it's strange because I've always had a horrible diet and only recently have had this problem with acne. I'm almost finished with college now and I feel like I'm too old to have it. I used to take the pill and stopped about 6 months ago, so I wonder if stopping it has had an effect on me...
