View Full Version : Sharp "twinges" in upper right side of chest?

Hi! I don't think these "twinges" ar heart related, but I wasn't sure where else to post this question. I am 28 years old and in good health. I went to the doctor several months ago to find out what could be causing my heart to beat very heavily (pounding) at certain times and I'd been experiencing shortness of breath on and off. At that time I had an EKG, echo, a regular stress test, and a nuclear stress test done. All of those tests came back fine, so it was all chalked up to stress. More recently my doctor had a 24hr holster monitor test done just for precaution. That too came back fine. However, I am still having sharp twinges of pain on and off in my upper right chest. Any ideas as to what that could be? I thought maybe heartburn, but I'v never had that before, so I am not sure what it feels like. :) Thanks.

If it's indigestion a Tums pill will most likely give quick relief.
You might consider therapy for stress since you seem to have symptoms common among high-octane people.
