I've not seen much on stents recently after all the noise about the clinical studies. I've had my two self-eluting stents in place for more than two years and have had no problems.

I have 1 in my OM that has been clear for well over a year, but a series of 4, end to end stents in my LAD that have restenosed 2 times. I cannot have any more stents in my LAD. Surgery is next. Bummer...

Bummer indeed! Fortunately the bypass surgery techniques have gotten better with practice. Best of luck to you.

Goldy, where have I been, lol? Thanks so much for the well wishes. I send them back at ya. Believe it or not, I felt better today than I have in a very long time. As usual though, I think I over did it. I am so behind on around the house, inside and outside chores.

I think the atenolol has been bothering me for much longer than I have realized, especially if my health continues to improve, or even stay the same as today. Either that or Coreg is really much better for me. I only got about 6.5 hours of sleep last night too :)

I may have found a cure for my FM and CFS. That would be too good to be true...You know, I did hurt today BUT I had some energy.

How are you doing? Are you having any symptoms that you think are due to your aortic valve leakage? I continue to read about aortic valve subjects, but do not want to worry you. If I find anything significant I will give you a holler :)
