I hope you are seeing a mental health professional and if you are medications they need adjusting. No you are not making much sense.

Yes I've been in threapy for sometime and I discuss these things with my therapist and to be honest she hasn't offered me much in the way of coping advice just allowed me to see how silly it all sounds outside of the confines of my own head. But the something else strange happens and I'm back at square one some how.

As for medication, if taken various kinds over the years but its never seemed to have much effect on me.

Then you need a new or different therapist. Your thoughts should not be this scattered with proper medication unless you have always been this way even with medication.

No I'm not on medication now at all. I've always had strange obsessive thoughts of one kind or another though never at this level of intensity.

See partly what makes me feel so alone, is that its difficult to explain all this and the significance of it to me, to like get the pieces to fit together for other people like they do for me. I worry that I'm to put it bluntly, losing my mind.

Hello! Yes this makes a lot of sense to people that have suffered or are suffering from depression. Others think you are not making sense because they don't know how confused people like this get. You feel that you can't make a simple decision because no matter what, you will end up thinking that you have made the wrong decision. Your brain works 24/7 and everyday you feel more drained and even more confused, so confused that you don't even know why you are confused in the first place. I understand cause I've been there. There is so much more to say but I will have to go on forever if I write anymore. So let me know if you want any advise or answers for anything that is on your mind.

I am sure you think you are loosing your mind and that is why you need to be on medication and why you need an ongoing therapist to validate your thinking. You have apparently edited your post but I am guessing your diagnosis is more than depression. Good luck to you.
