These children have to spend so much time in the hospitals getting chemo and such that they miss out on alot of family time. It also is so devistating to family income. I was wondering if a video cam would be good for them to have so they could see their family members on a daily basis, and if so if there were any foundations that would help with that type of thing. Does anyone know or have any suggestions??? Thanks

Each treatment center is different. Some have laptops available for those without that may have video cams already set up. Some of the children's hospitals have game/computer rooms available too. If you have a specific hospital in mind, go in and visit. Ask...Very sweet thought!!! The American cancer Society, Cancer Care and The Leukemia Lymphoma Society all have financial assistance programs that help pay for some expenses. Some programs are based on family income.
