Hi again, I was going to ask my p-doc about this when I went to see her last time but I forgot. She's going on vacation for a month so I guess I'll ask here.

I lack creativity in my writing, speech, and thinking. This has been going on for a while now I don't know how long. I'm not sure if it's my schizophrenia doing this or if it could be something else. Anyone know what this could be and is there help for this? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

I have been wondering the same thing. I used to be much more creative than I am now. The only way I can come to some sort of conclusion for myself is maybe I try not to think as much due to not wanting to worry or stress over things and that I have somehow taught myself not to think or be creative like I used to and do not know how to get that back. Or due to depression and how it makes making decisions harder and you think less clearly.

I would like to know the real cause to this also.

I found that my meds were suppressing my creativity. Once, I had a problem with my pharmacy, and couldn't get my Cymbalta for a week...besides being depressed...I was actively writing and planning for several books that I wanted to write. Sadly, I am back on the Cymbalta and having a very difficult time coming up with ideas/plots/etc. I have the talent in writing and hope to publish my works, but I just can't think with these meds in me.
