My husband had a stroke 13 years ago. All went well after that. He moved to WA and now we moved back and last year his bloodpressure was so high that I send him to the ER. That was around April 2006. I was still in WA while he was here working on the house. It was close to having another stroke. Now last June he was trying to get some work done outside the house and to make the store short I took him to the ER as another stroke was around the corner. Test came back a small stroke and a little damage on the brain. He started to get better until about 3 /4 weeks ago. He got tired and he is taking lipitor for plak he dont have but to be on the safe side they said. His cholestorol is very good his bloodpressure is going a lot better not that high anymore. Just a stress test shows that his aorta valve is not closing anymore. Due to that it could be the cause for the stroke does that make sense or is it just another way to say we dont know realy what causes the strokes,
