My chest pains started up again about 2 months ago after 9 months without. I had one really bad attack, but then went for 10 days with hardly any. Thursday and Friday I had prolonged low-grade chest pressure radiating into the jaw when under stress at work Yesterday was OK, but today I had the same thing at church, the only provocation being that it is cold. This is getting scary. I wish my NHS cardiology appointment would come through.

Is this unstable angina?

If it IS angina then it could be unstable angina or variant angina. In either case, I would not wait for an appointment to come through, next time you feel these symptoms you should go to the ER and get it checked out, it's not worth the risk. The symptoms you describe could very well be cardiac related and I would get to the ER to be safe, please don't wait.

Good Luck,
Tony

I have noticed that when i get stressed out i get left arm discomfort and left sided jaw pain. I actually was at the cardio one day when the pain was going on and they did an EKG and it was fine. I have had several heart test 2 of those being 2 nuclear stress test and they both show my heart is fine. I still have not figured out what could be the cause of this.
