supermommy121,

Plain unprocessed salmon is very low in sodium. 100 grams (about 3 1/2 ounces) of raw salmon has 59 mg of sodium. If the salmon is canned or soaked in a brine or otherwise processed, there will be lots more sodium in it. If you'r buying it fresh from a fish shop, ask them if it's been processed with sodium. If you get it from the grocery store, read the fine print on the ingredient label (you might have to get your reading glasses out for this :) ).
