Hi, I am currently trying to get pregnant. I normally take ultracet (which really doesn't help much, but it was better than nothing). I would like to know if anyone has had any experience with medication and pregnancy, or fm and pregnancy. Thanks for all of your help.

I think I had fibro for a few years before my 2nd pg. While I was pg. I felt fabulous -except for back pain. Once I had the baby, about 3 months later, the fibro came on full blast to the point I fell while carrying the baby, could not do stairs unless I held the railings, etc. I have since been diagnosed finally and use exercise, various pain med and flexeril to control things. I looked up flexeril and it is a pregnancy catergory b-meaning it should not harm the pregnancy, but talk to your doc about it or look up your meds on webmd or cvs or something for more info. Best of luck http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

PS. Dont be afraid though (my previous post could be a little scary, esp if you are already nervous).. you could feel great or yucky I guess that hormones can send you either way esp when pg. Having a healthy you and a healthy babe is all worth it though. Just try to "build yourself up"-a mothers term-before beginning and baby yourself all the way though. I know they give narcotics to you after delivery even if you are breastfeeding and tylenol was ok by my doc during pg. used judiciously. Get a team of people (your docs, information, some good books, freinds, etc.) and you will be sure to work through whatever comes your way. Here is wishing you a healthy pregnancy. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif
