Jammed my small toe 2 weeks ago. Entire side of foot quickly swelled and turned black & blue. Color returned after the first week, but it's still swollen. Mild pain with pressure on top of foot behind the toe. Broken/fractured bone? I've been icing it. Should I be using heat? What else can I do to help healing? Thanks for any help.

Your description sounds like you probably have a fracture, of toe or metatarsal. You should see a podiatrist, get x-rays.
You want to RICES> rest, ice, compression, elevate, splint.
