Last year I developed a fungus in both large toenails. I tried medication (doctor), over-the-counter antifungals, and what seemed to work was a suggestion I heard on a radio show...a natural approach, vinegar. The explanation was simply this: fungus cannot live in an acidic environment.
Worked for me...but, now, my right large toenail is split almost to the base.
Seems reluctant to grow back together. My feet are in excellent condition otherwise. No diabetes, etc. I take, calcium, C, E, B6 and the supplements from Dr. Atkins diet. My teeth are great, no gum problems, etc. I am 54 years old.
Help!!
