My toes have recently become swollen and red for no apparent reason. Both feet are affected equally. At night they are worse and the pain often wakes me. Soaking the toes helps and aspirin eases the inflammation. What the heck is this problem?
Any response will be greatly appreciated.

Hi:
Thanks alot for the information. I am going to try the B complex and see if that helps. I prefer to avoid modern medicine as often as is possible.
Take care,AngelaP

I have the identical toe problem! Did you find out what it was or how to treat it? I have been to several doctors, podiatrists, & orthopedists and none of them could figure out the problem. Please let me know what you found out about it.
Thank you,

Amberly,
I have been diagnosed with Raynaud's Disease, but have symptoms similar to what you describe. I go to a Rheumatologist - you may want to try that next. I am still having significant problems but we are working on it. I take Procardia XL - it is typically used for blood pressure as it relaxes the blood vessels and keeps them from spasm. My doc just doubled my dose today to see if that would help. I sure hope so, because this is like pure torment. The pain is as if you are walking on glass. Anyone else?
