kjmrfld 10-09-2007, 10:04 AM I don't want to get my hopes up, BUT, this month after clomid I went in for US and was told I'd already ovulated so it was useless to do the IUI. But, since they already had a sample, they did it anyway. I'm now 3 days late and took a HPT last night and sure enough there was a VERY FAINT positive. I'm going tomorrow for bloodwork to check. Could this be???
I'm hoping everyone is doing well - whether you're in the TWW or starting cycles. Here's to a lot of BFPs this month!!!!

How did you know you had already ovulated when they did the IUI? It is probably the best time to do the procedure, because the washed sperm doesn't live that long, so it's good that the egg was already there waiting for the little swimmers, right?
kjmrfld 10-10-2007, 10:32 AM I had used the OPK and waited for the test line to be as dark as the control, and went in for the IUI the next day. The RE told me it was too late, as on the US she didn't see any follicles - just where it looked like one had been released already. The clinic had made a mistake and had DH give a sample before the US - so the RE said since we had the sample already, we'd still do one IUI that day, but that it was not what they'd usually do. Crazy that they weren't going to do it! I'm glad they messed up!
Went for blood test today, so we will see.

I truly am hoping for lots and lots of BFPs this month!!!!!!!!
