Does anyone know what this could be? cleopatra 02-26-2001, 01:36 AM Gee thats odd, I have had a tingling, numbing feeling in my right pinkie toe for the last year! I still don't know why it occurred, but am thinking perhaps I injured it without paying attention, and maybe did damage to a small nerve. Hmmm, now you have me thinking....lately I was on a drug that gave me bad side effects while I was being weaned off. My right top of the foot and lower shin now also have that same feeling and I always thought it was just one of the effects causing the strange sensation. Maybe this really IS nerve damage and is travelling? reianki 04-03-2001, 06:29 PM re tingling toes. It maybe a good idea to ask for a blood test to check uric acid levels,as this could be a sign of gout,as a gout sufferer,i recognise these signs!! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif kjan 04-04-2001, 08:35 AM Once, a long time ago, I had tingling in my big toe that eventually became numbness and hip pain. I went and had some xrays showing all was well. The doctor prescribed some back exercises (which actually strengthened the abs which aligns the back) and within a short time all was back to normal. I was about 28 then. It might take longer to return to normal if your husband is older. |
