So here's the background on this cycle.
Last year I did 50 mg of Clomid, no ovulation. Then 100 mg (2 pills every night), no ovulation. We took a short break, and I started on 100 mg again, this time one in the morning and one at night, CD3-7.

Never before did I experience ANY side effects. Well this cycle I had major side effects.

Today is CD16 and I had some light spotting this morning. I've read some places where spotting is possible during ovulation. And it's in the window of possible ovulation.

I'm scheduled to go in on Monday for bloodwork, but with the appearance of side effects, and the spotting today, is it reasonable to get my hope up that I actually ovulated? (Unfortunately I haven't been charting my temps, so I don't have that info. :( I'll definitely do that next month.)

Thanks for listening to me ramble... no one else really understands and hubby is sick of hearing about it! lol

I wish I had some answers for you, I'm CD18, 2dpo and this is my first cycle on clomid (50mg) This is the first month I got a postive OPK so I know for a fact I ovulated this month. (my OB said I was ovulating in the past cycles because I have a clear temp shift, but I never got a postive OPK)

Have you ever used an OPK? I would definitly start using OPK's and temping, It has helped me understand my cycles better (I learned I have LPD, that's the reason I started clomid)

I didn't start Oing until 150mg and I had so many side effects it wasn't even funny. But I got a BFP with it so it was all good....but it ended in MC and I'm trying again but the clomid does have bad side effects the higher dose you get. But I'm guessing you O'd so good luck

Heather, deaerst, I just want to say that I'm sorry I have no idea about Clomid stuff, except for I have learned here. But I did want to respond to the last part of your post. Darling, I want to welcome you here. I, along with MANY, of the ladies here understand the feeling of not being able to speak to our BF/DH abotu IF stuff. Sometimes they are willing to listen, and hold our hand and even share a feelign or two. Other times (as in with my DH) they would rather run. :D :p :D (They're not unsupportive, but you know how guys can be with feelings!! ;)) I just want you to know that we are here for you, no matter what. We're all IF sisters and there are so many of us, with different experiences, you are pretty close to being garunteed to find some avice and 150% garunteed to find loving support!! Welcome, once again!
