Hi everybody
this is my first time here.
I am a 50 yr old female with both oesteo and RA.
I have many problems but the one that is getting me down is that the top of my ilium on my right side is extremely painful it doesn't spasm it just hurts so bad that now I am starting to walk slouched over. Does anyone out there have this to?
someone told me its my sacariliac but thats not where it hurts.
please respond
Judy:)

judy: do you feel the pain more in the side of the hip or near the low back/butt area?

sacroiliac pain is common in ankylosing spondylitis, a form of arthritis. one of the early symptoms is pain in the butt area which mimics sciatica and causes pain while walking. when i have SI pain, it also hurts to sit too because of the inflammation in the pelvic area.

have you told you doctor of this new symptom?
