Hi everyone

some advice would be greatfull, this is gonna sound dumb so i pre warn u!

Ok, i was in a 4 year commited relationship which ended in feb, myself and my partner didnt use protection and we both had trust etc.

long story short, i had a stupid drunken one night stand with my ex in early Sept (with condom) he didnt come nor did i feel a rip or anything.

My problem is , is that i am now with an amazing man and we are fully commited with eachother. I went for an AIDS test last week and thankfully everything was negative.

Myself and my partner both decided that we dont need condoms as there is full trust there and i know his status is negative also.

BUT... He knows about the one night stand and is now freaking after watching a show on AIDS (stephen fry program) that i could still be at risk for the one night stand i had even though it was protected and lasted 2 mins as i told him to stop.

Is there any chance that i could actually be infected even though a condom was used and i tested negative before this?

Pls advise cos i dont know what to do and he is now saying it doesn matter and he was being stupid and over scared for nothing.

if you used the condom correctly there is no way for you to be infected.
your worry is for nothing.
good luck

No, you could not have contracted HIV. Condoms are very effective if used correctly, and the HIV tests we have today are highly accurate. If tested negative, then you're negative, end of story. There's no need to worry.
