Hi Guys--I'm usually on the anemia board helping others, never thought that I would be on this one. Here's my story, rather my sons, he is 26 yrs old and began about 3 months ago having chest pains. He also has palpitations. I set him up with an internist to overlook his situation. The internist said at his age it is not his heart causing his problem. He scheduled a stress/Echo on Tuesday. The tech saw something he said he had only seen once before and called in a Cardiologist to check his findings. She said it was something but nothing to be worried about they might want to look down the throat and take pictures. Within 10 minutes his internist called me at home to locate my son. He called him and set up an atp. with a Cardio doc. Today he went in for a consult and this doc said he didn't neeed further testing he knew he saw a 1 cent. tumor on his heart. He is now being referred to a Cardio SX. Does anyone have any experience with this type of DX. It turns out that maybe the palps are related but not the chest pain. That is probably a muscle due to his type of work. I would appreciate any information that anyone has to offer. Thanks! FLFLOWERGIRL:(
