I had tendon releases/transfers on my arm and hand when I was 13. On what extremity will this procedure be perfoormed? frenchfri 02-06-2008, 09:55 PM No I was about his age when I had one done...it has helped me tremendously! JellyRJFan 02-09-2008, 09:01 PM Which tendon? The last releases I've had were bilateral hamstrings at age 13 and a few for a hammer toe repair at 14. Zagreus 02-10-2008, 09:05 AM As a matter of fact, I infer from the surgeon's comments that it may be more effective to have the surgery around this age than when the child is much younger. My son was barely 10 when he had the surgery and he's been doing great ever since. dovidsabba 03-03-2008, 08:17 AM i had both heel chords stretched when I was 26 - 28 yo. |
