Hello, I am new to this board. Let me explain a bit about myself and my story. I am 25 years old. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for over 3 years. All along we thought that my husband had infertility issues since he had a Vasectomy in his previous marriage, and of course we had that reversed. With no success, a year later we sought out a fertility clinic and started treatment. We started with an IUI (artificial Insemination) no success, so we proceeded to have my eggs retrieved and his sperm... and embryos were made and have been frozen. We have done 2 In-Vitro procedures with no success. So last month, I started having severe pain and a fever. So I went to the Dr. and they thought I may have endometriosis. So they performed a Laparoscopy Oct. 3 and found that indeed I had Endometriosis on my right ovary, in which they removed the adhesions. I am recovering OK, however I have a sharp pain in my left ovary. Like a cramping. My menses will start around Oct. 19 or so. I am just wondering if anyone has had a similar issue and has become pregnant after all of this. I don't see my for another week, and we will go over our next step. Probably another In-Vitro. My frozen embryos are almost gone. I have about 5 left. Then that is it we have no more eggs stored or sperm. I have been through so much and am beyond devastated by all of this. I don't know why the Dr. didn't find this sooner. I am assuming this could be a factor of the infertility. I still don't know that much about Endometriosis and what to expect from this point on! Any help or advice would be so appreciated! I just wish that I could become pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Peace!! I don't really know what to say abotu your situation, because from what i know right now, I don't have endometriosis. But I think that it should be fairly straight forward to get rid of, no? Did it leave any scarring or anyhting? Maybe you should get the pain on your left checked out before you do IVF, darling, since your frozen eggs are running low. If it's more endometriosis, you could get the removed and have a better chance at you BFP!!! :D Also, has DH done a sprem analysis? Have you had an HSG? I think those two procedures woudl be a great help in getting you your BFP.
Welcome to the boards, darling, I hope you won't have to stya here long because you get your BFp right away!! But ew are with you every single step of the way!! :D:D:D:D

Thanks so much for your support! Unfortunately yes we did do a sperm analysis and he had some motile sperm, so that was good. They went in and extracted them and found live ones, to mix with my eggs to make embryos. I will talk to the dr. about the pain I am having, that is a good idea. I don't have endomet. on my left side, they checked everything when they did the surgery, and took photos. Uterus, tubes.... Just on the right one. Since I just had the surgery I don't know if it left any scarring or anything. I will ask the dr. that too. I hope to have a successful IVF in the near future. Let me body heal for a few months and try it again!!!!! Thanks for being here for me! You are sweet~
