Hey All!
Well today is the big day and I am sooooooo nervous. Being that this is my third and finally IVF before my DH gets deployed I pray that we will finally get the result we deserve. What concerns me about this transfer is that it is day 3 not day 5 which I know has a higher success rate. Anyone out there with a successful day 3 transfer story?

Hi Jenny, Haven't done IVF yet but wanted to wish you the best luck today with your transfer. I'm sure this will be the one for you!!! They wouldn't do 3-day transfers if they didn't work...and I think this will be your lucky cycle. Let us know how it goes!!!

hi Jennypoo. Want to wish u tons of luck today, I know how much u deserve this BFP!!!! I just had a day-3 transfer yesterday, Amelu had a day-3 transfer a week ago, and I am hopeful that all of us will be success stories!!!! My beta is the 23rd. Do u know when yours will be???

Thank you all for your support. Beta is scheduled for the 23rd and the doctors said that the embryos look great (2 are 8 cell and 1 is 7). So hopefully third time is a charm. I was wondering has anyone had severe cramping with either crinone or endomitrim progrestion. I spoke to the doctor to let them know my discomfort and it looks like they are changing my meds to progestion oil injections.

Hi jenpoo. Congrats on the good looking embies! I never took either drug you mentioned but I have been doing the progesterone in oil shots and have felt no side effects. I hope your cramps start to subside! Oh, and I hope we both get bfp's at our betas on the 23rd! How exciting!

Anyone else do progestrone oil? Any advice about doing this injection?

Hi Jenny.
I did PIO shots. I don't particularly like them, so I used to ice the spot, then after the shot use heat to help the oil disperse. also, warming the oil in your hand ahead of time helps it thin out and makes it easier to inject. remember to do them in the upper outer quadrant of your butt cheek. if you are unsure about where to do it, draw it with marker or let the nurse show you where. and of course because i am a baby i used to pet my dog while DH gave me the shot so i wouldn't think so much about it. I really hope BFP's are going to show up like crazy this month!

CBB Thank You so much for your advice with using an ice cube to nub the area it really helped. Surprisingly it didn't hurt as bad as a I thought (I guess I can trust my DH with sharp objects...LOL). I'm still crampy from this mornings transfer but I figure its normal, at least I hope anyway. I will keep you all posted.
