Hello All !
I have been TTC for over a year and have had no results with the use of Clomid 150mg and Estridiol, my fertility specialist just prescribed Femera and will do IUI this month. Has anyone had success with the use of Femera? Any glimmer of hope would really help.

Hey...I can't offer you any stories, I just want you to know that you are not alone...I am in the same boat as you. I have done 3 failed IUI's with clomid, so my RE just switched me to Femora for this cycle. I am just waiting for O, so we will see. I just want to let know that I did notice that the side effects from Femora were 100 times better than with clomid. I felt awful on clomid and w/ femora I had nearly no side effects at all. Hang in there and I would love sucess stories on Femora as well! Courtney

Hello,
My best friend got pregnant on Femora, unfortunately it ended in m/c, but that was because the baby had Down's syndrome. My friend has since switched Dr's, and her new Dr. does not prescribe Femora, but I'm sorry, I don't know the details as to why that is. She just started her first injectible cycle yesterday, which he is very hopeful for her, so we'll see. I guess all I can recommend is do as much research and ask the Dr's lots of questions about the drugs you are taking. My friend also said the side effects were so much better on Femora than Clomid.

I just wanted to reassure you that you will feel pretty normal on Femara versus the Clomid. I have done many cycles of Clomid and experienced side effects and then did four cycles of Femara and did not have any. I never got pregnant on the drug, but a friend of mine did. She got pregnant the first month on it with twins. Her girls are beautiful and very healthy! Good luck to you!

Thanks to all of you that shared your stories, every little bit helps keep me going. I am looking forward to not having so many side effects, as I did with the Clomid. Good luck to all of you.
