hello to all on the thread my last bfn during my consalt my re asked if i want to remove my tubes because it would increase my chances. but let me tell you about my situation first and then you guys can give me advice. i have kids already the reason why i am doing ivf is because i put clamps on my tubes after my 3rd child because i wasnt married and i said if i got married iand my husband did not have kids i wanted to give him one and that what actually ended up being the case but when they did it they never explained to me the later on circumstances from doing it they had me believe that right that when the time comes that i could just have a surgery and get them removed and that was it but when now i decided to get them remove to give my husband a child it cost 5,000 dollars to take them off and they have to repair them and leaving higher rish for a tubial pregancey. so i turned to ivf i am young never had a problem why it hasnt worked on my 2 tries i have no idea my re said she even thought by the second try i would be pg but i am not so she said i should remove my tubes but i dont really want to because if i ever decided to pay that money i could try naturally what do you guys think.

I never even heard of them being able to remove your tubes! If you do decided to do that what all would it intell? Would you be able to concieve naturally after that or would you always have to do ivf? Im sure there are pro's and con's for keeping them or losing them. What ever has the most Pro's would probably be your best choice....sorry you cant get pregnant...i know its hard trust me...i mean i am only 18 and my husband is 22 so it seems like we should both be very fertile but we have been trying since feb/mar to get pregnant and still no luck! I guess people grow up thinking having sex one time will make you pregnant but there is far more to it then that...counting days, keeping your self on track, and much much more not to mention that people have problems at times....Either way you decided i would like to know the out come so keep me posted:)

hi hailymae yes if i took them out i would never be able to get pg naturally but that why i put clamps on my tubes i was a little to fertile i have kids but i want another one espically as one of mine passed away and my dh doesnt have any kids and that why i dont want to take them out because if i decided to take my clamps off i could try naturally but the surgery cost too much and since my insurance pays for my ivf i dedcided to go the route of ivf but look i was fertile and it didnt work with ivf its a gamble its like playing the lotto accept you have more winners than losers. my re keeps telling me i make perfect eggs it will happen but i am scared it wont. how come you have to do ivf you are so young.
