Okay...I just had the strangest feeling in my chest area on my left side right under my breast. It was like a mild tingling throb that lasted for about 2-3 minutes. I took my blood pressure and it read 131/81 which is high for me. Also afterwards..my left hand and arm started to feel slightly numb and tingling sensation also. Could this be a sign of a pending heartattack? I just turn 35 6 days ago.

I have had a very stressful week...I wonder if that has anything to do with it.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi, Have you had a physical lately? I would go for a checkup and report what you have told here. A baseline EKG would not hurt. It could be anxiety or stress but it is always better to be safe than sorry. BP can fluctuate according to stress, activity, etc. Usually a person is considered to have high blood pressure with readings at or above 140/90, and then it is usually a persistent thing, like several readings at that level. Seeing a doctor will not hurt and it may alleviate your fear, especially if you have a family history of high BP or heart disease. Let us hear how you come out.
