Hi,i'm 10 weeks pregnant and had some blood tests done about 2 weeks ago. Yesterday through the post i received a letter saying my blood count was abnormal and needed to go back in 8 weeks for another blood test for lymphocytes fbc + diff. I'm really worried as i couldnt contact my doctor as there shut and the hospital was very unhelpfull when i gave them my nhs number to check my file. Is this anything i should be worrying myself over? I feel sick all day everyday and feel very sleepy but put this down to being pregnant as i was like this with my 1st pregnancy and the results showed ok.

Thats pretty rotten that they send a letter in the mail to a pregnant woman instead of calling you up and explaining what is wrong so you don't freak out. There is no way for anyone here to determine what is wrong with you without knowing what the numbers are , if they are too high or low etc. Try and stay calm as if it were real serious I am sure they would not just make you wait for 8 weeks for another CBC test.
