For about a week, I have been getting gusher nosebleeds that last a half hour or so. I am 62 and have had nosebleeds on and off over the years but never this bad or frequent. I also get a mysterious burning sensation in my left abdominal area below the belt line that comes and goes.

Have you had your blood count taken lately?? Are your platelets low? I've had nose bleeds through out my life, but when the leukemia was brewing, things got out of hand. I woke up to a seven and a half hour nose bleed that landed me in the hospital for a weekend for blood and platelet transfusions. After that, the biopsy was done and I was diagnosed with chemo induced AML M2. If you haven't already, please discuss this with your doctor.
