i just found out that i have herpes. i really do not know anything about it, other than the fact that there is no cure. my question is.. what will this do for my life bringing a child into this world?

If you're asking if you will be able to have children ABSOLUTELY. hsv is not in the blood/sperm. Definitely not an issue.

Might I also recommend that you download Terri Warren's "Herpes Handbook". It sounds like you need some basic facts, and these are presented in a very palatable way. It's a great read.
