Hello,
My dr. suspect the chest pain is called Musculoskeletal.
Strain or pulled muscle inside my chest.
When I pick up something about 5 or 10 lbs or using
over head where I work.... it comes on especially while working.
Just wondering how in the world did I hurt it??
It seems after being dianosed with SVT a year ago,
i start having chest pains on right side only.
I am very healthy, no high blood pressure or anything.
Dr advised take advil 3 times a day....
Will the chest pain ever go away?? that is my concern.
I want to work out and get back into things.

Any input would be ;) APPRECIATED.
Take Care, everybody. :D

BB,

Have you had an Echogram on your heart? If so and they say you have a healthy heart then I wouldn't be concerned. I had odd pains in my chest and also have SVT episodes and get the same response from my doctor that it is "chest wall pain". A girl where I work has the same thing also and it seems to be anxiety related.
If you haven't had an Echo, then I would ask for one just to make sure your heart is healthy.

good luck,
lyl

BB,

Hello Lyl,
Yes, I had all the test even echo a yr ago. Dr says my heratois strong and normal. I am sure from lifting at work, probably muscle related.
Anxiety, that is interesting.... NEver Before, it could be.
Never at home. that is strange. alright. feeling good today.

Sorry about your big time episode. I don't drink tea. it was small lamount of caffeine but I really think it has to do with stress also. Do u walk or exercise, I really think that would help alot.

Curious, Can we take our pill while having big time episode? ... when it is time to take it, of course.

How long has it been since you had your last big time episode?

Take Care
~ B

BB,

I just had a big time episode on Saturday. Hadn't had one in six months. I think it happened because I had syrup and sweet tea at IHOP before it happened and my blood sugar was high and my potassium was low. I have had every test imaginable including CT scan of my lungs and echo on my legs Saturday. They thought that I had a blood clot that caused my SVTs Saturday, but nope. I just wish they would find a cause and fix it. I hate not knowing when I will have another episode.
I was told to take an Atenolol when I have issues and wait an hour. I waited an hour on Saturday and went to the ER. By the time I was all hooked up, the SVT subsided. Now I am being told to take a pill and wait 2 hours. Its just so scarey when it happens.
I do try to jog 20-30 minutes every other day, but had been slacking because of work. Just not enough hours in the day to work and sit in traffic then get home eat and walk.

Lyl,
I see, just 6 months later? that is close. I haven't had one since a year and been on meds. So, good to know can take meds when having an big time episode. I never quite knew if I could do that if it comes to that.
Yea, It is hard to maintain exercise and good diet. I put off exercise too.
I thought tea has very little caffeine, it should hurt, maybe you had lot of it. smiles. I don't know......we will never know, won't we? I drink caffeine free coke and pepsi. I can't seem to cut on that. I have it once in a while.
I am scared to have another big time episode too. I try to think positive.
Take Care....
